Chris's observations about life, his childhood, football, food, and yes, even politics, are hilariously sympathetic and sometimes thought-provoking. He has a way of making you think while you're laughing, or laugh through your tears... or just plain guffaw at the ridiculousness of the world around us as the aging process marches on relentlessly. His love for his family and his Georgia Bulldogs shines through loud and clear, but without arrogance; he's quite often the butt of his own joke. This book is an excellent starting place from which to accompany Chris on his often-befuddling, sometimes amusing, sometimes poignant, journey through this life... which by the way, is neither in a suburb nor as a cowboy!
